These are to-die-for!!! I used my classic crêpe batter recipe then spread some apple butter on the crêpe, rolled it up and topped it with low fat frozen yogurt and caramelized apples…I can’t believe I’m saying this but its better than Nutella crêpes. They are THAT good! If you want to try making these, the crêpes recipe is super easy, see below.
1 1/2 cup milk
1tbs melted butter
Pinch of salt
Frozen vanilla yogurt or ice cream
2 tbs butter
1 tbs Brown Sugar
1 tsp cinamon
Crêpes: Mix everything together and let set for at least 30 min in the fridge. Mastering the technique might take some practice and its important to use the proper tools. I actually went out and bought a crêpe pan. As for the apple-butter, I found it next to the jams at IGA 🙂
Caramelized apples: In a pan on medium high heat add butter, sliced apples, brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir till apples are coated and then let the apples caramelize for about 5 minutes or until desired doneness.
Spread the apple butter over the warm crêpe and then roll it. Top with caramelized apples and a scoop of frozen yogurt. Drizzle the sauce from the caramelized apples over the entire dish and enjoy.
